About this congress

The Brazilian Society of Retina and Vitreous (BRAVS), goes public, to announce the SEND of the 45th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Retina and Vitreous (RETINA 2020), which was scheduled to take place between April 22 and 25, 2020, in Sao Paulo city.
The postponement is due to legal determination of the Municipality of São Paulo, guidance of the health authorities of the Federal Government and, fundamentally, by the commitment of the SBRV with public health institutions, in order to contain the advance and prevent civil society from the epidemic Corona Virus (COVID-19) that has intensified in Brazil in recent days.
BRAVS has already started negotiations for the transfer of the period of the event and should inform, soon, the new date.
We communicate that it is the commitment of BRAVS and the organization of the event, with the registrants, congressmen, suppliers, exhibitors, sponsors and everyone else involved with RETINA 2020, to work so that the impacts resulting from this postponement are mitigated, making themselves available for any clarifications needed at the moment.
