About this congress
The "Association for Rehabilitation and Functional Reeducation" (E.R.R.F.) was founded in 1975, bringing together university hospital physicians, hospital practitioners, doctors in charge of private or public facilities, and independent practitioners.
Its primary goal has always been Medical Education, particularly in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR). Since its inception, this mission has been realized through the organization of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Conference (EMPR) in Montpellier, featuring three days of symposiums each year.
The topics addressed focus on the practice of PMR, selected for their practical relevance and theoretical interest, while reflecting the latest developments in medical techniques. These themes directly concern the field of PMR but also encompass disciplines with strong interconnections, such as neurology, neuropsychology, orthopedics, rheumatology, sports medicine, geriatrics, and pediatrics.
As true interprofessional and multidisciplinary gatherings, the EMPR also engage all professionals in Rehabilitation and Functional Reeducation, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, podiatrists, and orthotists.
