The purpose of SOFCODH is:
► To improve access to healthcare for people with disabilities and to reduce instances of unsuccessful care;
► To contribute to the development and dissemination of best professional practices in healthcare and support within the field of dedicated disability consultations, in particular through the organization of an annual congress and the publication of a quality and ethics charter;
► To ensure representation (at national, regional, or departmental levels) with public authorities, health authorities, and healthcare system funding bodies, among others.
