Christophe Chiquet, MD, PhD, FEBO, is professor of ophthalmology and Head of the Department of Visual Science and Ophthalmology at the University hospital of Grenoble, France. He obtained his university degrees at the University of Paris Descartes and Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (MD, PhD in Neuroscience). He is a specialist in medical and surgical retina and uveitis and has published more than 176 scientific articles, mainly related to uveitis, endophthalmitis, retinal detachment and ocular blood flow. As president of the French University Council in Ophthalmology (COUF) he coordinates e-learning development in ophthalmology. He is an active member of French society of Ophthalmology, EURETINA, ARVO and Club Jules Gonin.
