The Mobile Geriatrics Teams are a working group of the French Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SFGG).
This year’s theme is “Precarity.”
Both hospital-based and community-based MGTs are positioned as experts in managing complex situations where social vulnerability compounds multimorbidity and neurodegenerative diseases. What shared definition should be adopted? What is the current state of knowledge in 2026? Which tools can be used to identify this population? What specific features should guide assessment? What recommendations can be formulated within care and support pathways that are often fragmented and chaotic? How should collaboration with dedicated teams be structured?
