The National Union of Pharmacists in Healthcare Institutions (Synprefh) brings together more than 1,200 pharmacists among its members, practicing—regardless of their status—in hospital pharmacies (Pharmacie à Usage Intérieur, PUI) within healthcare institutions, medico-social facilities, and fire and rescue services (SDIS). In addition to its central role in statutory representation and the defense of its members, which constitutes a core part of its activities, Synprefh also aims to actively contribute to the evolution of professional practices in hospital pharmacy. As part of this mission, Synprefh organizes each year Hopipharm, the French-speaking hospital pharmacy congress, which gathers more than 1,700 participants and over 110 exhibiting companies. This year, Hopipharm will take place at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier, from May 27 to 29, 2026.
