The annual conference of SFERHE is a multidisciplinary scientific and professional event that brings together around 500 participants each year, including healthcare professionals, researchers, therapists, educators, families, and individuals affected by childhood disabilities.
The 2026 edition will take place on March 9 and 10 in Luxembourg, focusing on the theme “Care pathways, life pathways, from gene to function.” This conference provides a forum for discussion on the medical, functional, and social dimensions of pediatric disability, highlighting local resources, innovative care practices, early detection, rehabilitation, and support for families. The event promotes encounters between French-speaking specialists, people with disabilities and their families, as well as associations involved in the field of childhood disability.
