The 2026 Congress (SFB) is a scientific and professional meeting that will be held in Tours from June 17 to 19, 2026. It brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, and associations around a common mission: to improve the care, research, and quality of life of burn victims, both adults and children.
This edition is organized around the theme “The after-effects of burns: better understanding, better care, better living,” aiming to explore the persistent challenges related to physical, psychological, and social after-effects, innovative care approaches, and comprehensive support for patients in their daily lives.
The congress also provides a space for multidisciplinary exchanges between doctors, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists, researchers, and patient associations, with round tables and workshops to share experiences and ideas.
